2025 Morningside Hope Talk, Monday 30th June, 3.15pm, Braid Hall: Egypt – Luxor to Aswan. This year’s talk will be given by Mr. Eric Melvin. He comes very highly recommended as an interesting and entertaining speaker. The illustrated talk starts with a brief background about Ancient Egypt and then it’s a cruise from Luxor to Aswan finishing with a visit to Abu Simbel. The talk will last approximately 50 minutes and then there will be a chance to chat with the speaker and each other over tea and coffee. Entry by donation, all proceeds to Morningside Hope.
