Morningside Hope Events in September/October
Dementia Friendly Concert. Saturday 23rd September, 2pm in the Church, featuring the String Quartet, Heart Strings. Entry is by donation.
Music and Memory in the Cluny Hall, 2-4pm, workshops for those with dementia and their partners/carers. The next workshops will be on Friday 22nd September, Monday 2nd, Friday 13th, Monday 16th and Monday 23rd October.
Heart for Art workshops for those with dementia and their partners. Held every Tuesday in the St Matthew Hall, 11am – 1pm. There will also be an Art Exhibition of work done at the class on Saturday 23rd September, 3-5pm in the Church.
Gentle Exercise Classes, Cluny Hall, followed by tea and coffee, at 2pm on Mondays 25th September, 9th, 16th and 30th October
Games Afternoon, on Wednesday 20th September, and Wednesday 18th October 2-4pm.
Animal Afternoon – a visit from the 3 Alpacas from our local Alpaca farm – open to all and dementia friendly. Tuesday 31st October, 2-3pm followed by tea and coffee.
