Livestream Autumn Evening Service with Speakers, 2020 – : “Beyond Lockdown”

Autumn Evening Service with Speakers, 2020: ‘Beyond Lockdown…’ Five great speakers this year looking at what lessons have been learned during Lockdown and wondering what the world will be like beyond it. All services at 7.30pm. You MUST reserve a space through the Church office. We plan to record and live-stream the services which will all be held in our Church. The services are jointly hosted with Greenbank Parish Church.

If you would like to put a question to the speaker, there is a short Q&A section at the end of each service. Questions must be emailed to derek.browning@churchofscotland.org.uk and we will try to get through as many questions as possible on the evening. 

6^th September: Adam Bruce talks about green energy and the future  (Live-stream here)

13^th September: Richard Holloway talks about religion as the art of crisis (Live-stream here)

20^th September: Sheena McDonald, with Allan Little, will talk about ‘sliding doors’ and compare different lockdown experiences. (Live-stream here)

27^th September: Jim Naughtie will round off the series and will talk about the implications of emerging from lockdown for both sides of the Atlantic.  (Live-stream here)
